In Smardan, Romania, on January 16, 2023, U.S. Army soldiers with the 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), honed their abilities on the RQ-11B, or “The Raven,” an enhanced unmanned aerial vehicle.
The most frequently used unmanned aircraft system in the world, the Raven system is perfect for low-altitude intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations that need quick deployment and precise agility. Krebs thinks the work is made simpler by recent improvements to the RQ-11B Raven Small Unmanned Aircraft System, also known as The Raven. A manufacturer’s representative was dispatched to inform the soldiers in greater detail about the Raven’s most recent improvements.
