Ukrainian Special forces prepare for long-term insurgency in the event of Russian victory.
A member of the Ukrainian Special Forces has stated that even if the Russian government where to be successful in the invasion and occupation of Ukraine, the war wouldn’t end there. Special Operation forces have already begun training and have been given the responsibility of organizing future insurgencies against the Russia and are covertly preparing for the possibility of Russian military success against the more conventional Ukrainian armed forces.
“Special operation forces are in charge of preparation and coordination of national resistance.” Said the Special operator
The responsibilities include the creation of agent networks, creating weapon stashes across the country and coordinating with key allies.
“I cannot go into the details, but we have a very good partnership with our colleagues in Poland,” said the soldier. “That’s all I can say.”
