The Ukrainian Armed Forces have reportedly freed 23 towns and villages in Donbas.
Since 5 May, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have freed 23 Russian-held towns and villages in Kharkiv Oblast. Russia asserts that the objective of the so-called second phase of the special operation remains unchanged: to occupy the administrative boundaries of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts. On the Sievierodonetsk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Kurekhove fronts, fighting continues.
