As Ukrainian forces move in and maybe have already launched special operations personnel inside Kherson City, it is starting to look like fear may be developing in among Russian forces trapped there.
The Dnipro River crossing spots are still being targeted by Ukraine, according to Russian Telegram channels, and Ukrainian special operations personnel have now reached Kherson City. In contrast to the planned evacuation advocated by senior Russian military officials, some of those networks are also claiming that Russian troops there are in panic. Ukrainian forces “are trying to attack at the crossings near Kherson and Novaya Kakhovka, firing complete packages of [M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, or] HIMARS at them,” Colonelcassad said. “The locations and part of the objects were mined before the retreat of the RF Armed Forces.” Russian rocket artillery is also attacking Ukrainian military positions on the west bank of the Dnipro while Russian air defense systems are engaged in combat against targets. On the advice of Gen. Sergey Surovikin, the commander of Russian forces in Ukraine, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu issued an order for the transfer of Russian forces from Kherson City to the east bank of the Dnipro River.
