A senior Ukrainian official credits Ukrainian SOF for the successful attack on the Crimean ammo depot.
Multiple explosions rocked the Black Peninsula over the last few weeks as the Ukrainian military looks to disrupt supply lines deeper into what is regarded at Russian territory. Multiple covert operations have taken place in recent weeks, including the sabotage of a Russian Air Base which led to a frenzied evacuation of Russian citizens from the Peninsula. Putin has previously referred to Crimea as a ‘sacred place’ and many military officials have previously vowed that an attack on Crimea would lead to dangerous repercussions.
