The United States leads a twenty-nation task group that includes Special Operations Forces to Protect Ukraine.
The United States is spearheading a 20-nation task force of Special Operations Forces comprised of soldiers and paramilitary CIA employees to guarantee that Ukraine’s long-range weaponry reaches the correct individuals. According to the Chief of the General Staff, there are widespread indications that US-supplied HIMARS missile systems are already attacking Russian targets in seized parts of Ukraine.
The US 10th Special Forces Group, training SOF in Ukraine, relocated to Germany and established a coalition planning cell. This planning group now includes members from twenty countries. The US Air Force and Air National Guard have established their task force, codenamed “Grey Wolf Team,” to assist the Ukrainian Air Force protect their country’s airspace against Russian attacks.
Ukraine has received about $6 billion in military assistance from the United States. The Ukrainians received three weeks of training on the issued weaponry: To protect their shoreline, they were supplied vehicle-mounted Harpoon anti-ship missiles. A week ago, the Ukrainians said they had destroyed a Russian tugboat with a Harpoon missile.
