Despite the robot mules’ experiment, the German soldiers still prefer bringing real-life mules with them whenever they are out and about. According to them, they prefer mules to share their loads and talk to whenever things get a little rough for them. These German soldiers use these mules to help them carry food, water, ammo, weapons, and other supplies up to troops isolated in steep mountain terrain. Mules are perfect for soldiers since they can reach all terrain in any weather and without the same noise levels as a helicopter.
