Israeli security forces anti-terror operations in the West Bank overnight led to the capture of wanted Palestinians and the recovery of weapons and illegal vehicles.
As part of Operation Waves Breaker, which was started seven months ago after a deadly wave of attacks against Israelis began, suspect Khaled a-Hija was apprehended close to Jenin by IDF, Israel Security Agency (ISA, Shin Bet), and Border Police Special Operations Units. The operation has resulted in 31 deaths since the year 2022 began. The military retaliated with live fire after the terrorists’ fired shots and threw explosive devices at them, causing hits to be noted. Additional anti-terror operations were carried out in the Palestinian cities of Bethlehem, Abu Dis, Bitut, Silwad, Anata, Ein, Nabi Saleh, and Bayt Rima.
