As part of Operation Waves Breaker, which was started seven months ago following the start of a deadly wave of attacks against Israelis that have claimed 31 lives since the start of 2022, wanted suspect Khaled a-Hija was apprehended close to Jenin by IDF, Israel Security Agency (ISA, Shin Bet), and Border Police Special Operations Units.
The military retaliated with live fire after the terrorists’ fired shots and threw explosive devices at them, causing hits to be noted. According to an Israeli military statement received by TV7, soldiers “worked in the area of the city of Jenin in order to seize Ahmad Jaradat and Daajef Bages, who are suspected of involvement in terrorist activity.” During the city’s activities, the attacker’s relatives who attempted to shoot at an IDF post nearby the hamlet of Ofra on Wednesday from a moving vehicle were interrogated.
