The withdrawal of the majority of the US backing for the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen resolves many significant issues under international law.
Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have been accused of several war crimes throughout the deadly battle against the Houthis. Yemen is one of several long-running fronts in the “eternal war,” with AQAP and IS remaining relatively silent for the time being.
