Special agents neutralize threats, protect Air Force interests | Robins Air Force Base

Must Read

Counterintelligence, cyberattacks, and reconnaissance aren’t merely exciting key events for spy books and television series. Airmen at the Office of Special Investigations at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, are dealing with real-life national security issues.

AFOSI special agents investigate a wide variety of important violations on the site, including violence against individuals, theft, drug usage, and any other criminal conduct that jeopardizes the Air Force or the Department of Defense’s mission.

According to Haskett, the 78th SFS is in charge of petty crimes, while the AFOSI is in charge of criminal crimes. These are violations that, under the Uniform Code of Military Justice or the United States criminal code, would result in a year or more in prison.
