As the frequency and complexity of cyber assaults increase, so must the cybersecurity personnel.

According to ICSI2 data, a global cybersecurity employment deficit of 2.7 million employees. 42% of respondents said that training for entry-level employees costs less than $1,000. Recruiting junior employees is not a “leap of faith” when hiring managers can discover applicants with the traits and abilities required for a successful cybersecurity career. Ninety-one per cent of hiring managers said they provide career development time to entry-level and junior cybersecurity team members during work hours. Half of the respondents stated it takes up to a year. Employers seek candidates via certification organizations, schools and universities, and ordinary job advertising.
