Around 350 police officers stormed Kosovska Mitrovica and the Serbian autonomous territory of Metohija.
Invaded the northern part of Kosovo. Petar Petkovic, the head of the Serbian government’s Chancellery for Kosovo and Metohija, reaffirmed this. He claims that the Serbian government is considering sending about 1,000 security personnel to the Kosovo region. According to Petkovic, special forces representatives and 300–350 police officers wearing bulletproof vests have arrived in the north of the partially recognized republic. They are all equipped with long-barreled guns, complete battle gear, and armored vehicles, he claims. They “actually occupied and blocked the entire city,” he continued.
