Senior Army SOF warrant recruiter charged with sexual assault | Army Times

Chief Warrant Officer 4 Travis Gause, who was assigned to the Special Operations Recruiting Battalion at Fort Bragg, is facing a general court martial this May on charges he sexually assaulted a woman in 2019.

Gause’s unit focused on sourcing current enlisted members to become warrant officers but he has been suspended from all recruiting activities and placed on administrative duty.

According to a USAREC charge sheet, the assault allegedly took place in February in Fayetteville. It is not clear whether there was a civilian investigation preceding the military’s.
