The truck, which was transporting the monkeys to a Florida facility, crashed with a dump vehicle on a Pennsylvania highway. Although no one was wounded, four monkeys eventually escaped. Three of the monkeys have already been discovered, while one is still missing as of Saturday morning. Police subsequently verified that one monkey was still on the loose but warned people not to go looking for it or try to trap it. If anybody sees the animal, they are requested to phone 911. Coronavirus vaccine research necessitates the use of long-tailed macaques. Trooper Andrea Pelachick of the Pennsylvania State Police confirmed the search for the fugitive monkeys in Montour County.
