According to news sources and official documents, his parents, Joseph Bankman and Barbara Fried, reside in a multimillion-dollar property in Stanford, in the San Francisco Bay Area. Redfin places the worth of the five-bedroom house at $3.1 million, while Zillow places it at around $4 million. According to the Wall Street Journal, the parents predicted that the cost of their son’s legal fees would leave them bankrupt.
