It is almost clear that the 64th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade was annihilated and disbanded after the Brigade colors were taken and 300–400 soldiers died during the push from Izyum to Slovyansk. While the Ukrainian General Staff reported today that evidence in parts of occupied Izyum indicates the brigade has been dismantled or at least destroyed, last month the official statistics of the brigades killed and injured were approximately 80%. According to the report, the majority of the fighting force was disbanded and numerous officers and trainers were moved to the FSB Border Security force to staff patrols as a result of killed, wounded, discharged, and non-combatant personnel.
