Wagner Group, a Russian private military firm, had mostly remained unnoticed. However, on November 4th, the Wagner Group debuted a stylish new steel and glass structure in St. Petersburg.
It’s interesting to note that the Wagner Group entered Crimea for the first time back in 2014. The Crimean Peninsula was occupied by its mercenaries, also known as the “Little Green Men,” alongside Russian soldiers. The upkeep and employment of a mercenary army are not permitted by the Russian constitution. Its situation is questionable legally. However, it gives the Kremlin a fighting force that it can openly disavow in public. There are allegedly at least 5000 Wagner Group mercenaries working in various war zones throughout the world.
