Paul Rudd, who starred in Marvel’s Ant-Man, places a premium on his role-related diets and is “all business” when it comes to sticking to them.
Rudd said that “fitness and nutrition became the centerpiece of the day, and everything else fits in around it” when he got the role. When not in role-prepping mode, however, he said it was about “staying disciplined to a point” and allowing yourself to enjoy your life. Diet is more difficult than physical training for him, but once he is in a groove, neither is “that difficult.” When seeking a cheat meal, his weaknesses include french fries, pizza, and guacamole. After a cheat meal, Rudd advises giving yourself a break but then getting back to healthy eating. The hardest part, according to Rudd, is starting, but once you get through the first two weeks, your body becomes conditioned to the new routine, and living healthier becomes a breeze.
