Exercise Restore Hope II: 699 Nigerian Army Special Forces Personnel Graduate

On Friday, the Nigerian Army graduated 699 Special Forces members from “Exercise Restore Hope II” and urged them to be ruthless and violent against all criminal groups in the nation. According to Lieutenant-General Farouk Yahaya, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), the graduation marked the culmination of 16 weeks of intensive training. Personnel was trained, among other things, in sniping, long-range shooting, counter-ambush, and assaulting enemy defensive positions.
