The number of professionals looking for work has increased from 41% to 46% during the past six months, according to a recent survey from business consultancy firm Robert Half.
18 to 25-year-olds (60%) are the group most likely to change occupations in early 2023, followed by human resource specialists (58%) and staff members who have been with their organization for 2-4 years (55%) By a wide margin, a higher salary (61%) is the top reason professionals are looking for new jobs, followed by greater perks and benefits (37%). The survey lists poor communication with the hiring manager, misalignment with the company culture and values, and unclear or unrealistic job expectations as the top three reasons candidates are put off by a position.
