Future aviators will be supported by a scholarship program established and funded by a Fort Worth-based FBO.
American Aero FTW received a commemorative medal from the Navy SEAL Foundation today “in celebration and honor of extraordinary leadership and consistent support for U.S. Navy SEALS and their families. American Aero handed a check for $18,875—half of their 2022 donation to the Navy SEAL Foundation—as part of company dedication to veterans and active military personnel. The FBO has now contributed a total of $170,000. The Navy SEAL Foundation’s pilot certification scholarship has grown in popularity among SEALs on active duty and retired SEALs throughout the years. The scholarship program enables former SEALs to pursue educational courses leading to certifications including the Commercial Pilot Aviation Instrument Rating, Rotorcraft-Helicopter Private Pilot, and FAA Rotary Wing Pilot Commercial Add-on.
