The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has trained 7,000 regiments and special forces to combat security issues across the nation amid growing concerns about security in the nation.
This was said at the graduation ceremony for the 112 Special Forces of Course 10/2022 in Bauchi by Air Marshal Oladayo Amao, the commander of the air staff. He emphasized NAF’s commitment to building up the strength of the regiment and the troops of the special operations forces through strategic training and capacity building. According to the chief of air staff, the Nigerian Air Force has so far trained 5,000 Regiment and 2,000 Special Operation Forces troops both domestically and overseas in the pursuit of his objective.Because of frequent training, the purchase of new platforms, and the reactivation of grounded fleets, the NAF, according to him, has become a powerful force with increased professionalism. The Nigerian Air Force has made deliberate efforts to develop its own internal capability and resilience for force protection, according to the chief of air staff, who was represented by Air Vice Marshal Auwal Bello, Head of Training and Operations NAF headquarters.
