A terrorist attempt by two Pakistani terrorists with ties to Iran against Jewish and Israeli targets in Greece was thwarted with the assistance of the Israeli intelligence service Mossad.
Israeli intelligence agency Mossad assisted Greek authorities in foiling a planned attack by two Pakistani terrorists against Jewish and Israeli targets in Greece. Mossad reported that the two terrorists arrested in Athens were part of a broader Iranian network that operates from Iran and other countries. The investigation revealed that the Pakistani terrorists were planning to carry out the attack against a Jewish restaurant that also functioned as a synagogue in Athens.
