More than half of US workers want to quit their jobs in 2023, a new survey shows | Business Insider

According to LinkedIn, which conducted a survey in December of more than 2,000 US employees, 61% of American workers are considering leaving their current jobs in 2023, despite recent large-scale layoffs at prominent corporations and concerns about a worldwide recession. 

 According to the survey, a whopping 95% of professionals are optimistic about their career prospects in 2023, according to a post on Wednesday by Catherine Fisher, vice president of LinkedIn’s integrated data and consumer communications. The US labor market is still strong despite high-profile tech layoffs because smaller businesses are still recruiting, Insider’s Jennifer Ortakales Dawkins and Madison Hoff wrote on January 15.
