PrincessMe, a Black woman-owned small business that provides parties and services including spa packages for kids, was founded by Nia Brown, 30 years old. 34-year-old free-lance accountant Brandy, her husband, is collaborating with her to operate the family business.
Nia and Brandy homeschool their six children, who range in age from 2 to 14, in addition to running and building a six-figure spa business. They bought a bus, dismantled it, and used it to house her additional workout gear. They were able to start up shop at our physical location within a year. Similar to how they organize their schedules, they plan their finances. Saving money is very important to Nia. They need to save twice as much for our business as they did last year if they want to open two PrincessMe stores this year.
