Cowboys and cowgirls rode up Saturday to show FOX31 and Channel 2 a non-profit organization in the works to assist women survivors of violent relationships.

Wilber was chosen for the elite Green Berets and served as a Special Forces Communications Sergeant in the 3rd Special Forces Group. Wilber, who is also Native American, is the founder of the War Party Movement, which is now establishing the War Party Ranch in Elbert County. Wilber founded this organization alongside abuse survivor Mikah Wysocki. According to the couple, the foundation is all about empowering female survivors of abuse by teaching basic horsemanship, stockmanship, and horse packing, giving them the skills needed to work in the agricultural, ranching, and horse community.
