According to a supposed audio recording of Chinese military leaders, the country’s ambitions had been revealed.
Experts believe audio taken at a purported Chinese military planning conference on May 14 that seems to expose China’s invasion intentions for Taiwan might be false. According to Jennifer Zeng, presenter of Inconvenient Truths on YouTube, the 57-minute audiotape supposedly explains how China aims to “transition from normal status to war status.”
The tape was “meant to terrify,” according to a former senior Trump administration official. “The problem for the US and its partners is that there is no way to tell the difference between influence exercises and real assault mobilization,” Yates warned.
The claimed leak documents a “war mobilization conference” of the “Military-Civilian Joint Command in Guangdong Province,” which discussed the development of a “national defense mobilization command structure” and how China would prepare for war. According to reports, China’s purported Taiwan invasion preparations include 140,000 troops and 953 ships.
