The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has granted ManTech a five-year $57 million contract to provide world-class technological solutions that enable modern expeditionary weapon systems for the United States.
Command for Special Operations (SOCOM). ManTech was awarded this contract through the multiple-award contract (MAC) vehicle of the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center (DoD IAC). NSWC Crane oversees SOCOM Program Manager-Special Operations Force Lethality’s research, development, prototyping, acquisition, test, evaluation, and delivery of expeditionary weapon systems (PM-SOF Lethality). Weapon ammunition; optics; validation equipment; production equipment; sensor and fire control systems; mounts; rocket, missile, and gun systems; integrated pilot and operator displays; crew-served weapon systems and associated mounts; and airframe integration systems are among the SOCOM systems and associated subsystems that will benefit from the program.
