My opponents have dubbed me white adjacent and extreme because I do not fit their narrative of a persecuted minority immigrant seeking endless benefits, according to former Navy SEAL Team Six member John Allen. Allen served as a Special Operations Officer in the United States Navy, specializing in Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Deep Sea Diving, and Riverine Warfare. After leaving the Army, I opted to continue serving our wonderful country as a United States Representative in a new capacity. As a veteran of the Marine Corps, I stood shoulder to shoulder with America’s finest: its military personnel.
Just as they protected me on the battlefield, I believe it is my responsibility to defend them in Congress. Just 89 veterans are running for leadership positions in the House and the Senate.
