Kurdish Forces Shot Down Turkish Loitering Munition Over Syria’s Manbij | SouthFront

Utilitarian reconnaissance hovering A Turkish Kargu missile got intercepted close to Manbij. 

On June 15, Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) intercepted a Turkish Kargu loitering bomb in Manbij. The STM of Turkey created the weapon for surveillance and assault operations. It can operate in swarms and has AI image processing capabilities with face recognition capability. In response, the Turkish military fired around thirty mortar rounds toward the SDF-held hamlet of al-Mahsnah. However, no losses where recorded.
