In in order to help her husband on his mission, Ruth Scherf alleges she was asked to fly to Morocco using the alias Nicole, a Canadian residing in Paris. She adds that this was the greatest gift Mossad could have given her. 

Ruth Scherf, who is currently 78 years old and a mother, grandmother, and therapist, claims that while working for Mossad in Morocco, she went undercover as Canadian Nicole. Scherf has pleasant memories of her time spent there. It was the best present the Mossad could have given me, in my opinion. Her spouse Aharon Scherf’s work as a spy dominated her peculiar and difficult existence. It was love at first sight when we first met when I was a 19-year-old soldier in the IDF and he was a student visiting from France, and we were married within six months.
