Israel Aerospace Industry (IAI) and MBDA Germany, a missile systems leader, have agreed to cooperate in promoting solutions for training in air defense and electronic warfare.
IAI’s “Scorpius” system will be integrated into MBDA German’s air defense and training systems. Scorpius is the first system worldwide to deal with electronic threats simultaneously across various frequencies and directions. IAI will offer the German military a ground jamming system based on Scorpios systems for use in electronic air defense. MBDA Germany will use its expertise to ensure future integration and compatibility with IAI systems in German and European training organizations. In April 2022, Germany received approval to purchase IAI’s “Arrow-3” missile defense system, and IAI reported its most profitable quarter to date in Q3 2022.
