Members of AFSOC’s 73rd Special Operations Squadron were sent to joint multinational interoperability training at the Army’s Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in Indiana. The airmen participated in Bold Quest 21.2 which saw them work with partner nations to coordinate aircraft coverage during simulated combat scenarios. Liaison officers were tasked with working directly with the partner nations to achieve success. Over 20 nations and members of each of the US branches participated in the event. A main goal was to familiarize other nations with the equipment AFSOC has at its disposal. Although there was a learning curve many challenges were overcome and interoperability was successfully demonstrated.
