The Army Criminal Investigation Division on Thursday offered a reward for “reliable information” on the theft of an armored High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, or Humvee, that was taken from an Army Reserve center in central Texas last month.
A Humvee with the bumper number “399 TPC A1-6” was reportedly stolen from a Reserve facility in San Marcos, Texas, “between Nov. 22 and 28,” according to an agency press release. The bumper number designates the vehicle belonged to the 399th Tactical Psychological Operations Company, an Army Reserve unit based there. According to law enforcement officials, a reward of up to $5,000 is being offered “for credible information leading to the arrest and conviction” of anyone who committed the crime.
