Asking for feedback can be a difficult thing to do, whether you’re looking for a new role, or already in the interview process. Not all hiring managers and recruiters offer feedback, whether there worried their feedback won’t be taken in a constructive light, or their busy looking to fill the next job. In these situations, its important you ask. Whether you’re at step one or step five, you should be asking for feedback after every round of conversations. These conversations may be easier with a recruiter, as their incentivized to improving your interview skills. Listen closely to the feedback, and approach it holistically without over analyzing specific sentences, and finally tailor your approach, not your genuine self.
