Melanie Brown (also known as Mel B, aka Scary Spice), dressed in camouflage clothing, underwent a series of physical challenges that called for extraordinary bravery and strength.
Brown has supported Women’s Aid since her marriage ended, a nonprofit that offers refuge, treatment, and other support services to victims of domestic abuse. She was even awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for her efforts. She sees Special Forces as a further venue through which she can carry out her mission. “I wanted to show that other survivors out there, you’re not dead and gone because of what this person’s done to you. Remind yourself of who you are and what you were.” she said.
