Two weeks after the withdrawal of Russian soldiers from Georgia, US special forces are ready to conduct military drills with Georgia.
Georgian and American special forces have been conducting joint military drills in the eastern region. The exercises were performed as part of the Joint Combined Exchange Training program, created in the United States in the 1970s to provide training opportunities for American Special Forces in nations where they may have to operate in the future.
