General Atomics has told Shephard that once a prospective client purchases the aircraft, it will be able to move rapidly to fulfill operational needs after spending more than $20 million in corporate assets to develop and produce a new short takeoff and landing UAV named Mojave. The UAV, which can carry up to 16 Hellfire missiles with a load of 3,600lb (1,633kg), can also be integrated with EO/IR, SAR/GMTI, and SIGINT sensors for inland or naval operations.
