Four Lessons I Learned Along a Rough Road to Becoming the CEO Of an AI Startup | Forbes

Aleks Farseev is the CEO of SoMin.ai, a long-tail ad optimization platform, as well as an entrepreneur, research professor, and keynote speaker. 

He didn’t have as many opportunities to pursue interests as children in other regions of the world. His father gave him an ultimatum: either he works hard and get into university, or join the military and fight in the Chechen War. This warning triggered something within him. He earned a master’s degree from ITMO University. Along the way, he acquired numerous things that he believes will assist future leaders cross difficult terrain. He discovered four of the most important ones:
