The German federal police disclosed in a private letter to the firm that the two men accused of assisting an Islamist shooter utilized the large cryptocurrency exchange Binance. In Vienna in 2020, a shooter named Kujtim Fejzulai killed four people. There was evidence in the document that the accused acquired or traded an undefined sum of cryptocurrency on Binance, according to the letter. Drilon G., a German national, and Blinor S., a Kosovo resident, were identified as the two men. Blinor S. and Drilon G. denied supporting the gunman and claiming that cryptocurrency was used to fund his or any other assault.
