Canoo, an electric vehicle startup, claims that some of its former executives only joined the company to steal its trade secrets and build a competitor auto company  

Canoo says that the workers used Canoo trade secrets and intellectual property for their new firm, Harbinger. Canoo claims in a 58-page lawsuit filed on December 22 in the United States District Court for the Central District of California that several former employees stole intellectual property, violated trade secrets policies, breached employee separation agreements, and other violations in order to benefit their own new EV startup, Harbinger. According to a Harbinger spokeswoman, the lawsuit’s accusations are “meritless.”
