The Turkish Armed Forces will execute an amphibious operation with artillery assistance.
The Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) launched one of its most extensive scheduled exercises, EFES 2022, at the Doanbey Exercise Area. Ten thousand people from 37 countries, including Libya, Italy, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Pakistan, Albania, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the United States, and France, participated in this year’s EFES exercise. The goal of the exercise was to enhance the military capabilities and skills of the combined force and soldiers, as well as those of the invited nations.
An amphibious operation will be performed with the assistance of artillery fire and ground fire support vehicles, fighter aircraft, and assault helicopters. Also exhibited will be the moving of troops from ship to target, airlift, combat search and rescue, and close-quarters battle. During the drill, certain weapons and vehicles built domestically by Turkey were used for the first time.
