Carlow body: Inquiry after ‘dead man’ taken into post office | BBC

An inquiry has been launched into reports that a deceased body of a man was dragged into an Irish post office to collect his pension. According to the Irish Times, a dead senior was “pinned up by two guys” as his body was taken inside the house in County Carlow. Earlier on Friday, a guy went to the post office on Staplestown Road in Carlow and requested to collect a pension in place of an old man, according to Irish network RTÉ. Two guys returned a short while later with a man in his 60s who had “collapsed” in the post office.
