Canadian special forces don’t deny New York Times report that commandos are in Ukraine | Ottawa Citizen

Must Read

A group organized the delivery of armaments to Ukraine: The United States delivered mortars, rocket launchers, and ammunition to the Ukrainians.

The Canadian Command of Special Operations Forces would not refute the U.S. claim. According to Canadian defense officials, the New York Times claim is correct. Dozens of commandos from NATO nations, including Great Britain, France, Canada, and Lithuania, have been implicated. The United States removed 150 military instructors before the Russian invasion of Ukraine began in late February. The United States Army has established a support cell in Canada to manage the supply of NATO weaponry into Ukraine.

This unit offers information and coordination to convoys to prevent Russian assaults. Canada has supplied Ukraine with artillery, anti-tank systems, grenades, and drone cameras. It is also in talks with South Korea to acquire 100,000 artillery rounds for Ukraine, a transaction that might cost Canadian taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars.
