British officials say Cameroon, a 27-million-strong country, is managed by just five individuals and that “vast corruption” exists. President Biya, who has controlled the Central African country with an iron grip for 40 years, is at the helm. He now controls a fancy hotel in Switzerland, where he is in his late 80s. However, Britain backs his administration and, according to reports, undertook six secret counter-terrorism operations in Cameroon last year. According to papers obtained by Declassified, Britain is establishing training towns near Salak for special Cameroon troops. Along with military assistance, the UK inked a £200 million commercial agreement with Cameroon last year.
