About 1,000 individuals attended to commemorate the First Special Service Force’s 80th anniversary. Bill Woon served as the event’s master of ceremonies, providing historical narratives about World War II aircraft flights. Fort Harrison marked the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the First Special Service Force on Saturday. Using static line, a combination of former U.S. and Canadian Special Forces parachutes from the aircraft Miss Montana. In 1942, the elite regiment of some of the best United States and Canadian troops started training at Fort Harrison.
