Chelsea Cogswell, a Canadian soldier, will face charges related to serving marijuana-laced cupcakes to her artillery regiment when serving at the cafeteria in 2018. On July 21, 2018, the crime occurred at the Royal Canadian Artillery School in New Brunswick, Canada, just before the live-fire exercise. According to court records, almost all soldiers who ate one of Cogswell’s cupcakes were affected. They were unable to manage equipment properly, specifically “securing arms and explosive handling exercises.”
