In the last two years, the world has battled COVID-19, which has come to evolve into various variants. While vaccines against the virus are already available, there is no single vaccine yet that can effectively treat all the COVID-19 variants. With this, researchers at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research have been working on a vaccine to combat all possible COVID-19 viral variations for the past two years. The vaccine is known as Spike Ferritin Nanoparticle COVID-19 vaccine or SpFN, which will begin its 2nd and 3rd trial in the coming months.
