Army officer accused of multiple affairs and faking deployments recommended for separation | Task and Purpose

Must Read

Lt. Col. Richard Kane Mansir is accused of having up to 5 serious relationships while still married to his wife. Mansir is also accused of forging military honors and deployments to support his lies. A board of inquiry has recommended General Discharge for the Army Officer, which would let Mansir maintain his VA benefits but would eventually prevent him from retiring. Mansir is accused of providing women with forged deployment orders and falsely claiming to have been given the Silver Star and other military medals.

His Army record provides little specifics on his service in Mali, Kuwait, Germany, and Afghanistan. Staff Sgt. Mansir was relieved of command in September after an Army investigation confirmed claims of sexual misconduct against him. She encourages people to disclose military power abuses.
